Post 9/11 GI Bill

In 2008, the US government signed the Post 9/11 GI Bill which offers veterans a variety of benefits like a chance to get free CDL training. The bill covers several non-college courses like a truck driving training course. This means that veterans have the chance to attend truck driving school and CDL training for free!

The life of a US trucker is an exciting one! You get a chance to be on the road, enjoy the sights and sounds of many different cities and rural areas in the country as well as the freedom that comes with being behind the wheels of a large vehicle and being the King of the Roads! Military veterans are geared for this job because they have the much needed qualities of discipline, punctuality and an inherent honesty. This is what makes them much sought after candidates whom truck driving companies are keen to hire.

As a veteran, you can easily choose a good truck driving in school in a variety of Virginian cities like Charlottesville, Danville, Eastern Shore, Fredericksburg, Hampton Roads, Harrisonburg, Northern Virginia, SW Virginia and more.
